Dear friends,
I wanted to let you know that the forward and downward protrusion of one's head is not required with tech use; you can stay upper-body activated and still get your work done! Our Head Ramp exercise is a simple adjustment to the alignment of the head that decreases the load to the neck and upper back, alleviating “tech neck,” and is one way to move more of your body all day long.
Head Ramping is super-helpful, but the move is only as good as the frequency with which you do it, so enter our new “No Tech Neck” decals.
Here’s how those work:
- Place a re-stickable decal on a corner of any screen as a movement reminder.
- Ramp your head every time you use your screen (i.e. 1000 times a day).
- Pass on any unused decals and teach the Head Ramping exercise as you do! #VitaminCommunity
As for the Head Ramp exercise itself, watch how that works below!
And, P.S. Head Ramping doesn't only pair with tech-time. You can add it to your time spent walking and even during many exercises done on your hands and knees. Try it!
More on the decals
Our screen decals will help remind you to “ramp your head” every time you pick up your phone or open your laptop. Simply peel and stick the heavy-duty vinyl decal on a corner of your phone, tablet, e-reader or computer. They’re easily re-positionable and won’t leave adhesive on your screen when removed. Comes in a card with instructions and a link to this page in case you want to pass it along to friends. Order or find more decal details here.
