Getting All the Hip Flexors Moving

The pelvis can tilt in many ways, until stiff muscles get in the way. Many folks are working on improving their pelvic mobility trying to deal with low back pain, pelvic floor issues, and going into pregnancy. In this live, online workshop, we will break down the different muscles in the “hip flexor” category and why each needs to be addressed through their own targeted exercises.

Bolstering Biomechanics: Using Blocks to Increase or Decrease the Loads of Common Yoga Poses

Many shy away from grabbing blocks in yoga class because they feel it’s a cheat. In this small group workshop, we will take two hours to move through different poses breaking down “why” as well as experiencing how blocks can actually better target muscle—removing some of the struggle, while increasing muscular work. Learn more about bolstering than “where to put it.” After this class you’ll have a better understanding of a bolster’s purpose in the moves we cover and beyond.
