I am an experienced NM fan but still found many helpful things in this course. The individual movements are great to start with yet add new nuances even for those familiar with Katy’s work. The Home Gym and Flows are perfect for incorporating more movement into your life. Definitely a keeper!

I really like NM and have lots of Katy´s books. I have bought all three video courses and they are very helpful, particularly the individual movements. They explain what is hard to understand when you just read about it. The sound in this course is excellent. English is not my language and sometimes Katy speaks a bit fast, but in this course she slows down. Thanks for that. For all of us living far away from US this is perfect. Some days a couple of movements and some days a long serie. Moving for life.

After having read all of Katy Bowman’s books, I thought I had gained enough insight to maintain healthy mobility. Then a fall on the ice last winter causing soft tissue damage to my shoulder sent me searching for ways to heal. At first, I purchased the Strong and Supple Shoulders class (which was a great class). But I decided to purchase the Whole Body Biomechanics: Upper Body course to see if I could create my own rehab plan (because I tend to be a DIY kind of person—not always the best way to be). And I’m glad I did. After watching Katy perform movements and discuss key alignment points in the course, I realized that over the years I had developed some bad habits—slight alignment errors that meant not correctly executing all the movements I “thought” I had learned.
The professional quality of the videos allows you to see Katy clearly demonstrate correct versus incorrect movement. The movement instructions are very detailed with cautions about where mistakes can often occur. Being able to learn one exercise correctly at a time has been very beneficial for me. And having the course videos available to watch multiple times allows for all of those alignments point reminders to be reinforced.
While I ultimately needed some help from a physiotherapist to heal my shoulder, he supported the WBB Upper Body course work I was already doing on my own.
I’ll be adding the other Whole Body Mechanics courses to my library when I can.
