We have put the Virtual Studio on sale for another year, so maybe that will help! I discovered Katy 2 years ago and have been hooked ever since. I’ve read all the books and borrowed all the videos through the library. I now am a virtual studio member. I have learned so much about the way a body is suppose to function and the exercises to help me improve. This is information that I’ve searched for years to find and I’m so glad I finally did!! I was introduced to Katy Bowman a few years ago by a yoga instructor. I have been using the virtual studio for nearly 5 months and it has been amazing! I’ve been doing aerobics and strength training forever, and I thought I had good form, but in recent years I’ve been dogged by hip and shoulder weakness/injuries. When Covid-19 interrupted my regular routine, it actually helped me wake up and realize that it was time to change things up and I signed up for VSM classes. Since then I have been recommending these videos to literally everyone! My wife and I started doing VSM back in May. It has been amazing. I started following Katy Bowman back in Chiropractic school several years ago. I got involved with learning natural movement while going to school with some other students and docs. I have never found anyone who understands the structural side of things so well. Not only that, but also explains it very well. I wish my chiropractic school classes were half as good as I find Katy’s work. Her books, videos, everything is so helpful.
When I first saw the VSM, I was hesitant to try an online studio because they often do not explain things well and it is hard to follow. But Katy’s explanations make a lot of sense and it is super easy to follow.
The exercises have helped out some chronic tension in my upper back and neck. I tend to get tension headaches from them. I knew there was going to be a lot of other improvements I need to make, I was a student for years….So I sat a lot. I also had other health issues that cut into moving more. Since all that has cleared up we have been moving more and it has been amazing.
I love Katy’s philosophy on life. We will at some point transition to reducing our furniture. Every little bit I learn either from VSM or the podcasts I take in to help my clients too. I am an Applied Kinesiologist, so I do a lot of muscle work (as well nutrition) and I can get my clients well, but I want long lasting changes. Nutritious Movement provides that. I point my clients in this direction all the time whether by providing exercises myself or sending them to VSM, usually both. I don’t have a lot of time due to the muscle and nutrition work to do it all, so VSM is such a great partner in it. And everyone needs to move more and this is a fantastic resource. I cannot stop raving about it. It has helped me be healthier and it is helping round out my approach with clients to get them to optimal health.

This is not reundable. I got it for my mom’s cervical problem but she is unable to do the exercises. I couldnt do them either being pregnant. I reached out but didn’t get recommended exercises for pregnancy or pelvic floor. I should have spent my money on another program. If you want to try something here make sure it’s refundable in case you cannot do the exercises.
