Bolstering Biomechanics: Using Blocks to Increase or Decrease the Loads of Common Yoga Poses
Many shy away from grabbing blocks in yoga class because they feel it’s a cheat. In this small group workshop, we will take two hours to move through different poses breaking down “why” as well as experiencing how blocks can actually better target muscle—removing some of the struggle, while increasing muscular work. Learn more about bolstering than “where to put it.” After this class you’ll have a better understanding of a bolster’s purpose in the moves we cover and beyond.
