Well, after about a million blog visits, a thousand questions, and twelve hours of sleep (in three days), it is clear: You all have Pelvic Floor Fever.
I understand you guys are all excited, and you SHOULD be. The pelvic floor is like gold to the function of the entire body! Pease note this information should help you (not freak you out) as well as give you a bit more knowledgeable regarding how your body works and works best.
Because most of us are visual learners (and video is so much easier than reading all these words!), I created a quick VLOG (which is the clinical term for video blog) to clear up any confusion. If there is anything we don't need it is more HUH? when it comes to our own equipment! (P.S. It's perfectly normal to be confused by others, but certainly don't let your pelvis boss you around.)
Also, I'd like to clarify that pelvic floor disorder (PFD) is a multi-factorial issue, arising from many different habits (activities, posture, alignment, high heels, possible birthing trauma, stress, and emotional issues...just to name a small selection!) BUT (and it's all about the BUTT, isn't it?), the simplest, cheapest, and no-brainer solution is to make sure your machinery isn't making long-term pelvic floor function impossible.
